WALTER&WALTER  is a cross disciplinary collection of people that use design and research to create innovative, sustainable and memorable experiences for people.

We are a design studio that seeks out innovative design solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. We are an award winning architecture studio that is becoming known for work that explores the possibilities of architecture by thoughtfully considering the relationships between tradition, culture, sustainability and context. 

We are based in Melbourne, Australia and we work locally and internationally.

PEOPLE

Andrew Walter is an architect and has worked on numerous cultural and residential award winning projects during his career. Andrew is actively involved across the design industry and participates in conferences while also lecturing at Melbourne School of Design (MSD) and teaching design at MADA, Monash University. Prior to W&W Andrew has been involved in game changing projects such as MONA in Hobart, the Bendigo Art Gallery and the Younghusband Woolstore in Melbourne’s rapidly changing Arden Macaulay precinct.

Michelle Walter is involved in all aspects of the studio with a focus on the production of studio projects. Michelle has been involved in leading design teams and the production of award winning Print, Digital and Installation projects for clients such as Origin Energy, Jewish International film Festival and TMAG (Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery)
